Hey all,
thanks for the response and insight to the system.
I am just wondering how to DIMM the 7609 display, as it doesn't come with a DIMM button on the panel. (is it touch screen based?)

in singapore, we are going into DVB-T2 but currently audiosources only provides DVB-T modules. I believe that DVB-T will not be able to support and recieve DVB-T2 signals. Kindly correct me if i am not right.

cheers

I have a DIMM mutton on mine.

Hi, i understand the as7608 version does have the DIMM button. But from audiosources website, the as7609 model doesn't show a DIMM button.

Is there is different varient ?
I will appreciate if you can kindly take a photo of your unit and post it up?

many thanks for your help.

NO, it doesnt (at least mine), nor panel, nor screen-based.
only via remote or settings.

But overall impressions pretty cool
screen is very rich
my bro's 7608 v3 looks a kind of anachronism in comparison

Gents,

Been watching this thread with great interest. Looking to install the AS-7609 in to my Golf, however, after speaking with Audio Sources it seems that this model doesn't have an external mic... Can those of you who have already fitted the system let me know what the built in mic is like, as I know it's been a problem in the past?

Also, are the Audio Sources reversing cameras any good??

Thanks.

Mine has surprisingly good build in mic quality, comparable to OEM products,
the poor side is that phonebook sync still sucks

for cameras you'd better look on ebay

Thanks Grosbro.

I've looked on eBay, but Audio Sources are offering theirs for $48. They look ok (don't appear to have a night/lo light capability). Theirs replaces one of the number plate lights.

Any experience with wireless camera systems? Worth the money v quick installation?
