New multimedia device (coming out .... soon. ;) ) Info thread

There is already a discussion going on about this new device in the WD6050 Thread, but since it is a completely new device, it's a lot less confusing to open a new thread about it.

The name and the front of the device have not been published yet. Here is what we know:

-DVB-T is a very Expensive adder, About 100 USD DVB-T is a dual TV tuner which can work under 230km/hr and it come with 2 TV antennae

-480x234 resolution ONLY No 800 x600 or 800 x 480 available at the moment because it is not made in 6.5" . Possibly in a couple of months

-Which languages are Included with the standard unit? 5 ON Screen languages (English, French, Spanish Italian and German)

-Will download phonebook

- Ipod Is Supposedly Front AND back exit

- TMC available at Additional 30$ Cost

- Screen has a Brightness of 350 and has 3 selections (Dark, Medium and light)

- Does it turn On and Off like the Original VW Unit ? NO RESPONSE

- Has BOTH Built in and External Bluetooth mic.

- Has Double Antenna Connections for AM/FM

- Angle connector on the GPS Port NO RESPONSE

- Not available until after July 10th. Not in production yet and none sold.

- First product this factory has made.

- Can Choose light Color (Comes with both and you select Green for the Skoda look and Red for the VW look)

- 530 Sirf III CHIPSET

Thats about the end of our discussion and as unbiased as I can make it. It IS More expensive at Base price by about 45$

I have no opinion whether it is good or not. It is not tested. I don't think I need say more. They are available to me. If anyone wants to try one.

Maybe we should start a new Thread about it.

I recommend everyone who is interested in buying this device to contact Oskar (Joe) ( oskaramerica@hotmail.com ), as he has already proven in the WD6050 thread that he is a trustworthy seller with great customer support.

I will update this post when more information about the device is available (or when I have received mine).

Nothing gets by you guys ! LOL

They sent this photo out to 3 customers BEFORE the decision was made to NOT Send out Frontal and Menu Pics.

It is the Unit, Confirmed by the factory.

There still may be some changes, I cannot say for sure. This was a prototype.

I am very sorry you fill that way, but I don't really blame you because you are judging based on the information you have.
Its true that Oskar has a very good reputation in this Forum (and he deserves it) because he has really helped a lot of people. Which is the whole pint of the forum.
I am fairly new to this forum and I am trying to prove myself as much as possible. And as I mentioned in the other post, the reason why they are acting that way is because I found out the right source. Which is better for you, because I can afford to sell the product cheaper. Now, if you guys prefer to pay extra for the same product, please be my guest.
I know I don't have a big reputation, as someone else. But please read my eBay feedback and you can see that I am very serious at what I do.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that directing people to look at your eBay user feedback is the best idea when the vast majority of your recent feedback comes from a $0.30 item that you are advertising as "a great way to boost your ebay score." (To be clear - I have no basis for any judgment on you as a seller nor am I making any; I'm just saying you might want to think twice about that.)

I don't have anything to hide, because all the products that I have sold are legitimate.

Not saying you have anything to hide, just questioning the tactics you're intentionally using to artificially inflate your eBay rating (not to mention promoting that to others as well.) Probably not the most solid way to earn an honorable reputation.

I agree with you. The only way to earn the reputation is by hard and honest work. No offense to anyone, but the only reason feedback was mentioned is to show that people who bought this unit from me, were satisfied with the quality and service.

Not to take sides, but both Oscar and Dreny have helped me out with my software issues and I didn't buy my unit (witson w2-723v) from either one.

Both of them could have said screw you, but didn't.

Therefore, when others ask me about who to buy from, I would recommend both of them as they've gone above and beyond.

I've read your posts and removed this sentence from the first post.
Oskar - and some other users, including me - recommend to be careful about you, for reasons which have been mentioned in other posts in this thread and the posted message log in the WD6050 thread. But I won't accuse anyone of being a scammer without a 100% proof. Everyone should be able to decide for himself where to buy the product ;)
