I was told it's a European option but I'm not too familiar with the euro options.

Damn those seats are raw. I am so confused with different options. Does anyone know how I can get the seats in that color or how/where I can paint them if possible?

Hey, my DSG car didn't get that metal footrest! Something to go to VW with and complain about....

As to the colour-coded seats, apparently in continental Europe you get three colour options for the seat, the "base" colour (either anthracite or cream), then a stiching colour, and then an insert colour.
I wouldn't have minded different colour stitching in my seats (I've got the anthracite ones), it would've been a nice colour contrast to the rest of the cabin...
/almost regretting not getting the cloth seats with the classic GTI pattern... but not too much :wink:

Is it possible to get the dual zone climate control without the leather seat or Navi combo in the U.S? That would be kind of cool to have, plust it looks nicer. I haven't purchased my GTI yet and I saw this picture has it but without leather or Navi (I'm guessing it's a Euro spec?)
