Whats happening to my car?

Mk5 GTI stage 1 (08) FSI engine...only does this at cold start. Some people mentioned PCV valve but I just did that less than a year ago.

Do you have a boost gauge? It could be a vacuum leak, but better to log data off the car or see where you sit at idle with a boost gauge. If there are no leaks, the engine is at operating temp, and the AC / heat is off you should be somewhere around 19 - 21 in/Hg.

The vacuum line feeding the brake booster is known to crack over time. There's another in the general area that suffers the same issue, but I forget where it is exactly. Either way, best to gather some data before throwing parts at the car.
