Looks pretty stock from outside but then you look at the interior and realize thats a pretty hardcore setup!

That's VW Racing UK's official GTI!
Apart from the air filter I believe the engine is standard, just remapped by Superchips to 250PS.
New wheels and the interior stripped out, with the appropriate roll bars added to make it race-legal, but otherwise no chassis modifications. Gearbox is the completely standard manual 6-speed, and the exhaust is a Miltek unrestricted pipe.
Shows what a good car the GTI is if that's all the changes they've had to make for it to race, and race well!

The suspension must have been worked a bit. Look how low the rear sits. That can't just be the weight or the rollcage surely.
