I looked at a Mazda 3 this weekend before I bought my Rabbit. I thought it's Poke'mon styling looked like crap - just like a dozen other similarly styled cars. It will look cheap and dated in 3-years.

normally I go out and support Mazdas, lol. This time I can't say anything. The front end on the new 3 is hideous. Even some of the Miatas, depending on the package you get, are hideous. Its really too bad b/c they are very good drivers.

Is Apple going to drop the price of their Macs and iPods because of everyone else's cheaper(in both senses of the word) new offering? No. Sometimes value has to do more with the quality of the product than the price. The MS3 maybe cheaper, but the Golf.GTI offer better value.
