towing trailer

Anyone know if it will be possible to tow a small trailer with a dirt bike on it? I believe there are hitches available for the current North American Golfs so I can't see why we shouldn't be able to get something eventually for the new cars too. I have a dirt bike and I desperately want a new GTi but I need to be able to haul the bike around. Any insights or experiences are appreciated.

I just checked http://www.hitch-web.com/ and they don't seem to have any application for the MKV GTI yet (but they do have hitches listed for 2006 Golfs (guess these are MK4's?). You might want to e-mail them to see when they will have hitches available for the MKV. If I come across any more info, will post it here. Let us know if you find anything too.

Detachable version or fixed are the options, "across the range" according to the UK website.

I live in California and my local dealer says that they dont make them for my GTI MKV?

Anyone else have one on this side of the pond?
