I know that on the MK4's it was only some ol' 3M double sidded tape. It usually come with the eyelids when you buy them.

The adhesive that comes with them, its like 2 strips on each one

i bought mine from performance cafe and it didnt come with any adhesive!

I got heavy duty double sided molding tape from a Home Depot like store...

Stuff sticks so hard!

the thing about that is that i want to eventually get angle eye headlights so i would want to transfer them over, so how hard is hard? like i cant take them off hard?

They will come off if you really want them to, trust me. But they will not come off unless you put force on them. It sticks--well!

I had to change the eyelids once, and I got them off with some force, and it left no glue or anything. Headlights looked brand new.

3M molding adhesive. Clean the headlight good. Heat up the adhesive and headlight with a heat gun and apply eyelid.
