Do any1 know where they sell this stripe? :iono: Im looking for some place that hopefully could send to Europe. I think it looks amazing and I think it would look great on a CW GTI. It would make a good contrast, especially with tinted windows. Has any1 got this stripe on their mk5? Thanks.

thats a custom stripe the guy that owns the car did. To my knowledge they are not actually for sale. But im sure you could go to any shop that does work in vinyl and they can make it.

i kinda like it, it the whole bumper was black then it would look much better

Switching the colours (red where it's black and black where it's red) would make the rear bumper look so much hotter.

sorry you may be right, i meant that there were not any online stores to my knowledge to buy them at. I always forget about e-bay since there is usually just trash on there.

I'm not sure I like how it looks, but I see what he was going for... trying to draw the stripe into the bumper of the car. I give him props for trying to be unique, but the jury is still out on whether or not I actually like it....

No i just remember seeing the thread on Vortex where the guy did this. It was met with very mixed reviews.

It used to be on ebay, I do know that VW contacted the manufacture and made them take away the GTI, so now it's just a stripe.
