so basically i have 2 computers, my old mac, which contains the majority of my music, and a pc that i use full time now.
i need to use my ipod as a harddrive to transfer all my music to my pc. ive tried a couple of those transfer programs and i cant get them to work, maybe its because the ipod is formatted for a mac? any ideas?

If you have Windows XP, you can make your PC into a server client so you can transfer the music from the mac as long the music wasn't purchased trough iTunes.

so long as its not a iPod Touch... then you can use ur iPod in Disk mode and just basically it can be a flash drive in the shape of an ipod
