That looks like a stock golf with wheels and lowered suspension. Geez, I'm gonna lower my car and change the rims and try to sell everyone a MAlby Tuning performance package!

I don't get it. It IS a stock golf(GTI) and does only have modded suspension and rims...:iono:

Sportec says they only changed the wheels and lowered it to show to us that you don't necessary need a full bodykit and all the other modifications on the outside to have a very goodlooking GTI

Check out this site for some real nice and cheap rims! I love the anthracite Flik Wasp 18". I'm eventually going to get those for summer, and use the stocks as winter wheels.

Let me know how you like it.

when i look at this car, i feel like shooting myself in the face. lol - it's so uncreative it boggles my mind, and the rims make me feel like vomiting. xD

i have an odd taste in cars tho so don't mind me. i plan to evenchually paint my gti a coffe cream type color with all flat black 5 spoke rims. stock looking exhaust etc, but with a sporty sound and performance. o.O

I had an MKIV R32 and recently changed for a brand new MKV GTI Sportec RS300 and it's definitely more powerful and faster than the R32.
The idea at Sportec is to make it a sleeper and not a showcar.

They did the same thing for the MKIV body style.

0-60 times mean nothing. one car can have closer ratios and gain a second easy. 1/4 mile is a much better form of evaluating a cars performance.

Not to beat a dead horse but this performance package is incredible. I run this kit on my Audi Avant and I'm blown away by the driveability and reliability it affords me. It's certainly a car to be driven not a toted around as a trailer queen for shows. I have over 25k miles on my RS300 kit and couldn't be happier.

Wow I need to stop looking at these forums before I mess up my pants. 300bhp? I bet it is a low 0-60 time because it takes that long to grip the road ;) I like this kit, I bet it is freaking expensive though!

...almost every styled GTI is TO much of a spaceship. The GTI looks more than great original and with the kind of styling Sportec presents with just details in colours, lowering and the nicest rims on the market their Black Magic totally rules!!! I'd kill 4 those rims =)
