Just ordered my GTi

I just got back from the dealer and ordered a United Gray with DSG, 18' Wheels, and Monster Mats, for just under $25,000 not including taxes and those other fees. :thumbup:

May!? Is the wait that long for custom ordered GTI? OMG. Better make sure you watch videos and look at pics to hold you over until the cuz thats a long time. :wink:

Congrats! I'll be ordering my UG GTI in April, hoping for a June delivery.

I'll edit this post later when I get home with the wallpaper I made of a United Gray GTI and Interlagos Cloth interior with a 6-speed manual. 3 pics are the car and 1 is the interior. If you want the big version let me know and I'll post it. It's an assembly of 4 pics to make a 1280x960 wallpaper.

Congratulations..

I ordered my Black DSG GTI on 14th January.
I just got the confirmation that it will be week 12 build

Expected delivery will then be 1st week in April onwards

I fully understand the waiting..

I went to the dealer the other day and he brought the price of my GTI down about $1,300 because I told him I found another dealer who is willing to sell me the same car for less. :thumbup:

At this point it is like $500ish, but I am going in today because another dealer offered me one at $200 over invoice. I'll post here what is resolved later tonight then. :)

My local dealer was an ass about it and told me to go to the dealer that I got the good deal to thinking I was trying to trick him.

Funny thing is that I can actaully get it for invoice now, but it will be a Package 1, DSG, 18inch wheels, and monster mats for about $24,250, plus I think he included the destination charge in the final price, so I might be getting a great deal on a package 1 GTi. :)

Well I am sure I will get my car under invoice now, because the dealership included the destination charge in the price...so prolly couple hundred under invoice if i'm lucky. :)

That is exactly from who I got my GTI. I live in Rockford and drove to Mt.Prospect because they are the best dealer. You should buy from them, because they sold my my GTI for about invoice. If you do decide to buy from them, then tell them I recommended them and I'll get $100 if you want. :thumbup:
