hey i went Revo stage 1 a little while back nd i got a check engine light :mad0259: and when i get it scaned it says mass air flow does anyone know what that is and how to fix it thanks in advanced

What's the specific fault code?

Maybe the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor is shot?

i dont remember the exact code off hand but ill get someone to scan it and repost i believe it started with a p if that helps at all....nd also when im driving the car bogs ALOT going 15 60 80 any speed it will just bog out of no where it kinda feels like its stalling out i didnt have it the 1st couple of days when the engine light came on and now its just getting worse and worse each die i would go and found out and fix it but i dont have time between school and work im hopeing a quick after market part would do the trick

do you have a intake and if so what kind. MAF mat need cleaning, you can pick up a bottle at auto parts store, or you may need to replace it. All codes start with P, so that does not help. Try to get the code if you can.

i do not have an intake all i have is an atp downpipe...ill get the code tomorrow do you think i need an intake??

No you don't 'need' an intake.

Are you running any software? I'm sure you already had a CEL to begin with since you have the ATP DP.

well i had the check engine before i had the atp downpipe in...i got the CEL 2days after i got Revo stage 1 and my friend scaned it and it said mass air flow

So wait, you didn't have a CEL when you got your REVO Stage 1?

What other mods do you have besides the DP and REVO? Are you on Stage 2 or 1? You should be at 2.

noooooo i got revo stage 1 then i got the CEL about 2days after i put revo stage 1 and put the dp in about 6 days ago so i rly havent had the chance to go stage 2 and before i go stage 2 i rly wanna fix the mass air flow problem 1st
