View Full Version : Random warning during hard right turns.

So for some reason ive been getting an oil pressure warning telling me to turn off my car after taking a hard right turn. As soon as i get out of the turn the light goes off. My friends says its bad oil distribution in the oil pan?

Any suggestions?

Have you checked your oil level?
Normally that's a sign of it getting low.

I have had that happen twice & each time I added a quart of oil to bring it a bit over the min line on the dip stick. Our cars burn oil. You can find threads on here of people saying that vw reps have claimed up to a quart of oil per 1000 miles is normal. ( a bit excessive if you ask me). But nothing to stress over. Just add some oil. (and obviously, NOT TOO MUCH!!)

And you didn't fill it up why? Sounds like you're chronically low on oil - good luck making to 100K.:thumbdown:

this sounds like a classic case of the oil pickup tube falling off into the pan, If this is the case it needs to be adressed ASAP

Im not gonna lie, hopefully my engine blows. Ill just get a new one under warrenty. Yey!

No you won't.

It says in the manual you're supposed to be checking the oil level every fillup. Blowing your engine would not be a defect, it would be a result of negligence and denied warranty coverage.

Fuck the manual. The owner of the dealership is my neighbor. And i have checked my oil, but the vw dip stick sucks my balls. It said i was at max so if its low they can suck my balls.
