Long Island mkV bbq 9/9/06

So i see there are a bunch of mkV owners in the greater NYC area
but i haven't met too many

I'd like to organize a mkV meet
Ive had bbq's at Belmont lake state park with good success ( not Belmont horse race track, this park is out in suffolk county exit 38 on the southern state parkway)

I propose Saturday Sept 9th ATTENTION....MOVING DATE TO 10th
they have a HUGE lot, and benches

lets get a list going
most likely what will happen is i'll organise it so that I'll buy the food and collect money from everyone

bad to depend on ppl bringing stuff, because some ppl will flake, and others will be late and leave ppl hungry, feel free to bring some food, but its easier if i just buy most of the stuff

id like to make it mkV only...

oh, and I will be bringing my HUGE DSLR camera to take pics, so if you want some of your car come thru, and make sure to ask me to shoot your car

stupidity will not be tolerated
lets keep the music down, try not to piss off the other park goers
anyone caught doing a burn out will be asked to leave
anyone seen racing in the parking lot will be asked to leave
if you act civil, then no one will be hassled

Hey Fri 29th at 130am in Monclair at 6 brothers diner there is going to be a mkv gti meeting. We have a few ppl comming already so please email me if you have any questions. Its the 1st meeting tomorrow so please try to show up to make a good impression for other mkv gti's. I know its late but on a friday night the parking lot will be empty and we can always eat at the diner. Ill be there tomorrow around 130. I drive a black magic mkv gti.
