HOW DO I CHANGE THE DOME LIGHT BULBS

and the bulbs above the sun visor????? I have tried but it doesn't seem very user friendly. The bulb sockets above the visor seem to slide a little to the left but WILL NOT POP OUT!! Please HELP!~:bow:

Above the mirror I can not help you out. the visor lights however are real easy. Using a screw drivers and or pick pull down on the inner side (towards the center of the car) and pull down. keep pulling on the right side only, will bend out. no fuss no muss.

As for the map lights / dome light any help here I would be interested in as well.

Thanks for the response Atomover but I did try what you suggested and when I slide the bulb housing to the left and try to pull down on the right side nothing gives (I'm afraid of breaking something). Do I just need to use excessive force?? And, when and if I can get it out where can I find the correct blue bulb for it??

use a flathead screwdriver or knife pop off the plastic part that looks like speakers (but isnt). insert the screwdriver under piece on the side closest to the sunroof. under this, there are two torx screws (cant remember what size). remove the screws and the whole section pops out giving you access to the bulbs.

for the lights in the back seat, just pull the whole thing, it just pops out.

I will get some pictures of the visor light tonight out. I know I was afraid to pull it out too. I used a lshapped hook to pull mine out. Let me verify and get some pics.

ok my bad. stick your L Shaped pick into the left hand side or OUTTER side, so basicly the side towards the door, pick into that side and pull down it will pop down and out like a swing door.then its just unplug the thing. I still didnt get pics as I misplaced my camera (doh!) but its straight forward enough. I will see what I can do this weekend.

Thanks Atomover for the advice, I popped them out just like you said and installed the ultra bright blue LEDs... man, what a difference!!

uummm why go through that? Stick a flathead under the plastic clear piece over the bulbs and pry to the down, it pop right off with little effort, it just clamps in.
