I was driving down a road close to my Highschool when I saw a friend driving his WRX(which I have beaten before, lol) But there is a car infront of him in the #1 lane so I go on the outside from inside at about 85 on a 35 sharp left... let me put it this way... The car was going around the turn at about 80mph and stayed pedal down and had the car at about a 30 degree angle in the lane all the way around the turn... when we got to the subway... He told me that my rear right tire was about 6 inches away from the curb and was like dude you are fucking crazy... and I thought I was too... (mind all this is happening as I have one friend in the front pass, and one in the rear right... THEY Could not see the square corner of the curb... we were so close... all I have to say is... THIS IS THEEE MOST PREDICTABLE CAR I HAVE EVER DRIVEN... if I had the .:RGTI like they have in Europe, I would be so happy...
(Disclaimer: I have no fucking clue what I was thinking... BUT ZOMG was it an adrenaline rush... I recommend keeping those kinds of maneuvers to the track only type of thing. I will make a video later... NOT OF ME DOING IT but of the road I did it on. If you want to look on google maps... It was on Nohl Ranch Road between Scout Trail and Anaheim Hills Road in Anaheim, California. I was driving East and you will see a street to the south making a "T" intersection. Well the left turn after than street is where I was doin 80mph in the right lane sideways... "drifting" (for lack of a better word) Oh yea and need I say all 4 tires were totally loose all screaming for around... 2 1/2 seconds in the turn. After that I ended up correcting while we were drifting around the Subaru and a Mercedes... and ended up with a sweet finish in the inside lane about 75 feet infront of the Mercedes... I would pay 100 bucks to see the look on everyones faces... Including everyone in my car. There are some things that dare not be repeated on the road... this is one of those moments. If you would like anymore awesome detail about this feel free to email me @ dh3790@gmail.com Yea... good luck guys.
