Curious as why you think someone w/leather would trade? Only way I could see them doing so is if they had race seats. They wouldnt pay extra for leather just to trade down for plaid, unless you threw in a LOTTA cash.

There was a guy in canada that sold his whole set of seats like 2 months ago.. people like the interlagos.. I would have bought them and driven the day to and from but I didn't have the money at the time.. Either that or you keep tight tabs on your local scrap yard and tell them if they get a GTI w/ leather to call you.

^ GLI seat's wont work for a GTI, they don't recline forward for the rear passengers. the OP says 2006 model in the sig, so it's a 3-door
