looks like the MK5 doesnt have many choices for after market wheels here in US. can anyone give me some suggestion? i was thinking about getting Volk Racing's LE37K or the BBS CH:smoking:

There are plenty of options. Have you seen the wheels from Neuspeed? There's also a thread here that shows lots of different wheels.

Haha yea BBS CH looks really good, it's 26lbs per wheel in 19"

:iono: 26 lbs is pretty much as heavy as the stock 17" right?? BBS is great, but the lighter the faster for the car no??the BBS RG-R is so light!!but i dun think they fit the MK5 n plus i can afford that much$$$

I'd say 26 pounds is decently heavy for a 17" wheel (though stock wheels don't tend to be light generally). The lighter the wheels the better handling and acceleration you'll have technically (because of reduced unsprung weight) but whether you'll notice it really depends on how much lighter the wheels are and what your driving style is like.

i want rs-gt's myself...but i think those are a little more than i want to spend on wheels.....
gonna get myself either a set of dpe's or bbs

they are available in 5x112 for 18" but they only have an ET of 35 so they would stick out
