Can anyone recommend a good service dept in the Cincinnati area? I bought the car at Northgate Lincoln-Mercury VW but was very disappointed with my first visit to the service dept.
I was asking questions about flashing for Launch Control and the tech had no idea what I was talking about. They never even plugged in the computer! They just did an oil change like they were Jiffy Lube. Never even reset the service interval computer.
Now as of last night my airbag warning light has come on.
Anyway, If anyone knows a good tech around Cinci. Please let me know.
Thanks!

Thanks..Trying there as well.
Try Northland VW in Norwood, several of the SWOV guys work there and know what they are doing. Avoid Fairfield VW, they are as clueless there as where you went. I had to show the tech how to reset the service reminder.
Oh yeah, check out SWOV.ORG if you haven't already.

Thanks, I'll check them out.
BTW, I just tried the SWOV.ORG site, but they say they're not accepting new users:iono:

yeah I bought mine at Fairfield, but mine's always service at Northland. Those are the best dudes around. and that swov thing doesn't make sense, bummer.

hit up a reply on the general forum already.
They have apparently had a huge problem with spammers joining the site and are fed up with it.:fighting0030: :paddle:

I bought my first VW from Northland in '01, took it there three times, but found their service department to be inconvenient on scheduling even the simplest service. I since got all my service done by Century (now Kings) in Loveland. No complaints with their service, and they don't require two weeks notice to do an oil change.
