:help: HI I'm new to these forums.
Does anyone have any bad experiences with Torque Factory? I took my car there a couple of weeks ago and had a very bad experience with I think his name was Jef and Torque factory.
I dont want to post my experience yet until I see if it was just a fluke and I caught the guy on a bad day or if you guys have had experiences like mine.
Have any of you gotten chipped or gotten your suspension installed by TOrque factory? Any bad experiences?:help:

Until their motors blew up...:brokenheart:
Ask Eurocode - they have 4 pistons out of separate motors of GIAC Jeff Moss cars.
What happened Xabier?! Do Tell please!:eyebulge:

Yes, please do tell. I'm deciding on who I'm going with right now. APR, GIAC and REVO are the ones I'm considering because all have their pro's and con's. I'm thinking it may come down to the shop and how they handle their customers for me. If an issue occurs in the future I don't want to have to deal with a hassle for a re-flash. Plus I don't want to have to deal with a-holes from the get go. I'm looking at Eurocode in Torrence as well...they have REVO and APR.

Check them out for sure. Sarkis and Jeremy are awesome to deal with. I take my Gti to Ecode for everything and have gotten nothing but honest down to earth service.
Try to stop in there if you can. I'm sure you could get a trial of APR or Revo if you wanted

Jeremy, let's not forget to mention that
A. Just yesterday you tried to knock Jeff Moss in another thread not even remotely relating to him.
B. You actually accused a moderator of being Jeff Moss.
C. You work (or used to work) for Eurocode tuning.
D. You are an avid APR supporter.

Please provide your evidence otherwise this thread will be closed as it seems like you're baiting. Not saying that you are, but it does seem suspicious.

And for full disclosure, I got my 2000 Passat 2.0t (orig was a 1.8t) with BT custom tuned by Jeff Moss a few years back. And about a year ago, got a chip for my GTI from Jeff Moss. No problems with either tunes. He also gave me vag-com logs of the tune as well.

Does seem like that is what it was. For the record, obviously I don't know Jeff or Torque Factory. I just wanted to see what the guy was gonna say.

Why would anyone vent frustrations in a web forum prior to calling the shop to resolve the issue? No pity for people who try to slander someone's rep.

As one of the largest volume VAG specific parts and accessory warehouse distributors in the Southern US, I would like to think that our voices would be heard and respected on the subject at hand.....
I know Jeff Moss from the Torque Factory (formerly of Velocity Sport Tuning) personally, and can tell you this much about the man. As one that's been in and out of this industry for well over 15 years, and one that has met hundreds of people within the VAG performance industry, I can tell you that very few rival the generosity, kindness, willingness, and genuine hospitality of one Jeff Moss. The man is very sincere in what he does and would literally give the shirt of his back to help a customer. Any slander associated with this man is pure ignorance. And yes, we too were one time a good customer of his that did plenty of business with him so this isn't just hearsay. Jeff, while not perfect (what human is?), is someone that cares about his customers and will do what it takes to see that they're taken care of.
I know that SoCal is a very cut-throat community with a very competitive nature (I've lived there, I know how it is), and know that a lot of things are said out of hatred just so the next guy can eat, but I can guarantee that anything derogatory said about Jeff Moss is without a doubt only stemming from bad blood within the tuning monopoly there and not actually from this man not caring about his customers. As far as we're concerned, he's the best in the business - and very few can do it better. Anyone that's actually owned a Volkswagen or Audi for longer than a year (newbs are fired), knows who this man is. Moss is a legend! Not many do it better than Jeff.....
