What to do first?

I have my mods picked out and am ready to get started but what to do first? I got about $2k to spend and here are my choices...

1. Miltek TB exhaust and GIAC chip

or

2. 18's with better rubber (right now on the stock 17s)

By posting in the power forum you can tell which way I am leaning power power power, and I would be quite happy to deal with tons of wheel spin for a few months but the sensible part of me says that the 17s can't handle what the GTI has now and getting more power is just silly...

what do you guys think?

I would say #1, not all power is used during initial accelleration. Such as accelleration while doing 40 or 60.. any extra there would be sweet and stock tires could handle

Power. No point in getting 18's if u aren't dropped. The 17's have more contact "more rubber contact" lower psi to 20 at the track and you'll have a blast.

wow I thought most of you guys would have been on the sensible side... good deal, now to see how long it will take to order the miltek
