What would be a price range for installation of a TB or just a CB and how long should it take... Would the price vary if you bought the parts else where?

i would say that either one shouldnt cost u more than 200 to install

back where im from most people charge 150 for a cat-back...and proably 175-200 for a turbo-back...it really depends on how hard it is to install....and from what ive seen on the MkV its pretty simple

oh cool... thought it was going to be much more than that... So you would say at most $200 for a full exhaust system?

When I spoke to them the liked the GIAC chip and TT exhaust but I really like the miltek and remus... not sure if I should buy online and bring to them to install or see if they can get it, but then I would pay sales tax too... (bit if a cheap bastard)

me too, I want the GIAC... right now I am debating which to do first... get some proper rims and rubber and dump the stock all season hard as hell 17s or get the chip and TB and deal with some wheel spin

to install a muffler around here straight from the turbo is aobut one hour labor, so its about 70 bux. in reality if you did it yourself with appropriate tools itsll take about 15-20 minutes.

alf is it hard to do... It seems like it would be easy, losen a few bolts take the old on off put the new one on tighten down... I'm sure there's a bit more than that but I could not imagine a lot of tools nor experiance are needed?

yea, its easy from a certain standpoint, but when u look at it and do not have the correct tools, then it becomes hard, lol.

its very simple, just a few bolts like you said, make sure u have all the correct gaskets as well.

I had my cat-back Thermal R&D system installed on my Audi 1.8T for $85...took a bit over an hour including some welding to tweak the fit and chopping the stock system into a couple parts that would fit in the trunk.
