Are you sure the US ones will fit if it is LHD and ours is RHD? I thought the foot well shapes were different between drivers and passenger side?

Id be interested in some as well since my beige floor mats are taking a real beating

I would have thought they'd be interchangable and not pedal/footwell-specific. Hoping the configuration of the car (LHD/RHD) doesn't come in to play. Can someone confirm this ? Cheers.

A quick search shows them on Ebay (set of 4 for US$64.99 new) >>> here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-VOLKSWAGEN-GTI-MONSTER-MATS-2006-MKV-GTI-MONSTER-MAT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33697QQitemZ8062203 004QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD1V) <<< and I'd be fine with the Gorilla Gear boot liner (http://drivergear.vw.com/store/accessory.asp?parent%5Fcategory%5Fid=12&category%5Fid=82&subcategory%5Fid=272&product%5Fid=3270#). All requirements for MKV Golf GTI.

( It's been a steep learning curve and for that I'm eternally grateful to this site and its helpful community. Thanks. )

i'm lookin' for a set too, the $64.99 one on ebay seems to be a pretty good deal, but shipping to canada is another $25. and i might have to end up paying duty!
i think that's a good deal for ppl in the states.

Ah yes... thanks for that. :P

Here in Australia we get no such deals. I'm paying AUS$45k plus change (US$34k+) and that's not including stamp duty or rego. Had to push real hard for tinting.

You've got it easier and a lot cheaper in the US.

Me? I'd just like some decent priced mats and boot liner. :)

For you getting them through the dealer is still more expensive than paying all that shipping?

..just a thought

Not an option, unfortunately, but good news : I'm flying interstate and collecting my GTI tomorrow. Expect pictures shortly.
