no shit man... how the fawk... id hate to see this happen to the DSG clutches, tlak abou tan expensive fix.
but seriously, youd have to REALLY be riding it hard, dumping the clutch on take of some shit. ive seen some bad clutches but that damn thing is BROKEN. ewww.
if i remember correctly there was another guy that had about 1k miles and had a clutch fry on him too.

From what i understand he went through 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th spinning on wet ground then having a bad clutch smell afterwords

As far as a bed smell, when a clutch is BREAKING in IE... 200 or so miles, isnt a SLIGHT smell normal?

It's quite apparant that some of them may be in over their heads about the MKV. Acting like children i'd say... Exspecially the user who posted about MKV drivers having a lack of security, taste, and the other one. Even though im 16, obnoxious remarks about a burned out clutch is just lame. :thumbdown:

I bet more than a few of those MkV bashers would gladly take a MkV over their Mk4 if they had the cash. Sounds like alot of hatred, perhaps because they can't get a MkV, so hey, "if I bash it enough maybe it will actually be true"!
