No.

Yeah, you're the only one--I think most of us just prefer to leave our cars parked.

Coming from a MkIV, I'm somewhat amazed by the improvement in handling the MkV brings. It's just begging to be pushed.

I think this is a rhetorical question.

the off ramps and curvy back roads are the most fun, boosting through the turn and shootin off. But like HI-C said, youre the only one...

I found the limit last night... hard 90* elbow that had a 15mph caution sign before it (on a 55mph backroad) came up on it didnt touch the brake and whipped the wheel, punched back down on the gas and away we go.

My buddy following me said I went tripod until the back end broke traction and slid out beside me.

Scary but fun... Ill heed the caution sign warnings a little more from now for sure.

Gotta love the independant rear suspension setup coupled with some proper coilovers and a proper bit of road to really get you going.

I love it when there is a speed advice sign and trying to see how many mph I can beat it by!

There are some nice curves coming back from Flagstaff that at 105mph* will get the rear a bit further towards the limit of traction.

-Colin

*And by 105mph, I mean the legally posted speed limit there, of course.

there is a huge struggle to keep the gas mileage reasonable and change flying all over the place every time i get in mine.

i'm yet to get better than 21 mpg. i once had 22 but it went away fast. but when i hit the 55mph yellow line roads, i am passing like 4 cars at a time sometimes. my previous car was a matrix, which i had to floor just to go 80 on hills, so i take full advantage of being able to blow past everyone.

i need better brakes, i've almost had a couple times where a cop almost 'dar'd me going waaaay too fast.

Both 89 and 19. Nice scenery -- you'd think it'd be cooler out with the vegetation and whatnot, but still hot as hell out there too...

my MPG average right now is 20.3 and thats after a small highway drive. I've yet to seen anything higher than 21 either but between hitting 5k every time the light turns green or driving like my grandma and saving a few dollars, i'd take the turbo'd driving.

The Trader Joe's parking lot on Oracle and Magee in Tucson is very shiney. A bit of rain and it's nice and slick. The parking lot is empty then too because it's on the northside and Yuppie-Hippies are afraid of water.
