Hey guys,
This is the first site I happened upon since I joined the GTI community, so here I am again to post my baby.
Enjoy!

I have finished in quotes because I don't think we can ever be done modding . . . I've got eye-lids, mirror covers and some Carbon Fiber plans, as well as true LED tail lights in a chrome housing on the way.

those rims had to be $$ :O

yah, not cheap, but well worth it. Travis at Tuning Zubehor get em drop shipped for me straight from Germany to my office in Taipei; from the word go, it took less than 2 weeks for Schmidt to custom make the wheels and send them to me. They're 18" Schmidt VN Lines, custom made with 48mm offsets all around, resulting in a 2" dish on the fronts and a 3" dish on the rears. I'm ecstatic with the way they came out, and the Durachrome finish is done very well. The actual rim is stainless steel and can really take a beating, definitely easing my mind, especially with the horrid road conditions here.
If you're interested in actual prices, contact Travis. I can say that the shipping cost a bit under 150USD each to get to me here though.

Nice ride Keeshee! Does your name mean "very mad" in Taiwanese? :)
KevinFastMkV
05-12-2006, 10:09 PM
KeeShee in taiwanese means " go die"LoL
Keeshee
05-12-2006, 10:17 PM
LOL it means both, but it was "very mad" at first. Its a question of inflection hehe
The tint was a throw-in from the dealer; if I'd had my choice it would've been less mirror and a tad darker, but free is free hehe.
The exxhaust is from ABT as well, but I'm not sure if its an OEM by Milltek or not; it sounds real good. Low throaty rumble at idle and just gets better from there!
Schools: KFMkV is correct; the wealth of schools in the US can't be beat. The only reason anyone comes to Taiwan to learn is the language and politics (Taiwan Straits is one of the flashpoints in the geopolitical realm, and Taiwan has one of the few fledgling democracies that actually seems to be working).
What's BM GTI mean? Black Magic? Its actually ink blue . . .
Thanks for the comments all.

Hehe, I thought it was some sort of different black at first, but now that I look closer I do notice the blue-ish tint more. It looks great! Do you have any pics that show off the true color better?
