i bought my wife one just like that for her 04 J wagon. My friend has an 02 GTI with an audi tt antenna. I can swap their antennas out no problem. HOWEVER, my wif's will not screw into my base yet my friend's TT antenna will

Very strange, as I thought the 06 used the same antenna as the Audi. The one I purchased came with 4 different base screws, so it would seem to work with most cars. And it was only $13.00, shipping included . . . .

And the reception is not half bad . . . .

Yes, but you get major style points for modding the H2 antenna to fit your car . . . .:cool:

if you don't want a antenna that small, the Honda S2000 antenna fits good too. the base of the S2000 antenna is a little wider but it still looks good.
