Wheels and tyres have been ordered 5 weeks, MAYBE here before Friday.

Coilovers have been on order less than a week, and WILL be here before Friday.

Garage is booked for Saturday!

So the question is,

If my wheels don't arrive for Friday do I still get my car lowered and the alignment sorted or do I wait?
Will the alignment be different for my new wheels eventhough they are only a nat cock bigger?:iono:

If I get it done and my wheels arrive next week I can put them on ready for a Dub meet the following weekend.:help:

just wait, why pay twice when you could just wait a couple of days.

The work in the garage is costing me nothing. My mate is doing it as a favouor as I'm currently in the process or building him a stainless petrol tank for his kit car.

The only thing that will cost is the alignment but thats only 40 quid.

40 pounds is 40 quid

I say get the car lowered and wait to do alignment after you put the tires one, wont do any damage if you only going to run it for a day or so, plus you are replacing the tires anyways.

thanks for the translation, its the same as 40 nicker.

nicker, quid, dobber, nugget= all slang terms for 1 english pound

is 40 quid like us saying 40 bucks?

well back on topic, if its not costing anything then do it but i wouldnt want the headache of going back twice. thats on you though

yes is the same as you saying 40 bucks.

Also back on topic, would I need to go back for another wheel alignment? I'm currently running 205x55x16 and I'm going to 235x35x19, there is very little differance in trye diameter and hight.

it'll take the springs 2 weeks to settle so you really want to get an alignment done after that 2 weeks, and thats why i said i wouldnt want the headache of going back twice, i would just get everything installed at once and then go back in two weeks later for your alignment. wheels size is a component of alignments but the ride hieght is i think a little more important.

in cliff notes: wait till everything comes in, do one install and then go back in two weeks for one alignment.

Sweet, thanks for the advice.

I just hope that everything arrives soon. It's like waiting for christmas.
