1. Fart Cannon - We dont wanto be sounding like hondas do we?
2. Under Body Neons - Never comes out as cool as the pictures
3. Full Out Body Kit- Cause everyone has them broken or not painted
4. Cut Springs
5. 25" Wheels -Unless they are spinners :thumbup:

Ive always called those "steal me" stickers... like you can size up how much you will get when you part out the car before you steal it based on the stickers...

Well, I have a GTI and I dont think it does anything special. It is just something to get dirt under and rub against the lenses... So if anyone ever takes them off it looks like shit underneath. Plus, what does it do besides add slightly more weight and make it less aerodynamic?

actually i have seen eyelids on an SRT before and it actually finishes flush with the hood, they dont look too bad...still not my taste though

thats why i hate them so much on GTI's because they dont flow with the edge of the hood, they just look ridculous

so you dont like a 2.0t badge? i dont see what is wrong with that

I just think BOVs belong on cars that DIDN'T come with DVs. Thats just my opinion, take it as a grain of salt, we don't need to argue over it.

Also, on the dual exhaust, maybe if you saw more of a performance gain with a dual exhaust over a single exhaust, I would see it as a "great mod." I personally don't like it on our cars.

That is basically my point, all they do is cause issues and they aren't made for our car.. its like a Rabbit with an electronic BOV, it didn't come with it so leave well enough be.

Most of us are waiting on the Forge Updated DV because its a direct replacement with no relocation of any parts and it comes with the forge quality and their R&D is amazing. Eurocode tuning has came out with a replacement that you explained and it seems to be working fine.

Ahh, ok. I just don't see a BoV as something thats completely unnecessary. Granted, there are alot of people that get them that realy don't need them, but that DV would be the first thing I would replace if I were running a bit more than stock boost. If it leaks its just robbing you of power.

styling is subjective. there is a guy withb a gli on the tex with about every add -on you can get...he wins contests but i am not feeling it. if getting body work and paint wasn't such a bitch to get done (with quality) in AZ i'd have more done.

at the end of the day, do what you want. hell, go luck at the germans, they have all turned their dubs in some pimp my ride monstrositys. generally in the dub scene, as far as styling, its less is more...browse the gallerys at www.cleaned.be

the belgians shave everyhting, and i mean everyhting. i personally like that style, low, nice wheels and no badges/decals (unless its a club thing then its not so bad)/eyelids/whatever.
