i think it would an excellent op for BSH. Anders from EVOMS took everyone in and showed them the intake, exhaust and everyhting they were working on, then bought a bunch of pizzas for everyone.

I could see BSH really cementing themselves into the culture around here with an op like this

maybe some specials on that particular day and of course pizza

We should probably plan it at least 4-6 weeks in advance to give everyone enough notice to keep there schedules open. I'm in the same boat as you with May starting to get booked up with commitments. Maybe we should shoot for about the 1st weekend in June?

On that note, Phil we gettin' together for Lunch Wednesday?? Same place as last time?? Those burgers were awesome. Hopefully this time I won't be a bit under the weather and can actually enjoy one!!

Which location? My buddy used to work in scottsdale and he said there was a few MKV's, including a TR MKV GTI that a chick drove. I don't remember her name or if she posted anywhere, but I think she had it lowered a bit and a few other minor mods.

He now works in Tempe and he's got a BM with some nasty limo tint, but that's all..

Which department are you going to be working in?

gilbert, the red one with "the chick" drives @ gilbert is janet, she's my friend

i will be on the suopprt floor starting next monday.

JOEL: Ronnie & Phil installed my H&R Ultra Lows. Great guys along with everyone else I met this weekend (Rif Raf, chon, nacho, nick and chad and everyone else). The car is tucking tire as it sits (barely), and that after they were installed and spun half way, THEN RAISED 1" due to scrubbage. these things go scary low!

Now i need to do the fender mods so i can go lower

BTW::::::::: BSH gave me a great deal and an excellent install on my H&R Ultra Lows
Phil and Ronnie are great and I highly recommend them to everyone!

Mikey-
I don't know if Phil has a roller. But if not, Hit Johnny and Joel at Eurojet up. They have one and can do them for under $100 I think. Pretty quick too. I will be there on Wednesday.

thanks Joel, my fronts are @ 24" off the ground and its the lowest i could go and still be able to turn the wheel....i am on the stock tires (225 45 r17) so for me to go lower on a daily driver i'd need to run a lower profile tire. i'll be lowering the rears tomorrow (and getting my HID's to recalibrate).

i am very happy and as i said, these things go crazy low!

i was talked into keeping the car. not that i didn't love the car but, well things have been sideways since october and i felt i needed to dump everyhting and go in a diff direction as far as my life is concerned. Things are tough still but i have come to realize the car, while a money pit, gives me satisfaction and an escape.

plus i was threatened with physical violence and a big thumbs down from my daughter, who at her 6th birthday asked when she gets her GTI lol.

pics coming soon, gotta get the rears down and figure out the levelers (argh). It sucks not having the right tools. . . . .

Well I am glad you are keeping the VW. It's always good to have something to take your mind off of the tough times.
