Hey guys ! Don't we all LOVE the R32 rear exhaust? and of course its front bumper with S6 LED's..

Finally my friend decided on getting them , and while he is busy getting things done properly , i'm here posting some pics of the build

We bought the R32 front bumper with the alloy center from a dealer that shipped them straight from germany.. But sadly the Bumper got damaged while they transported them from a country to another.. So we fixed those scratches.. Did the primer coating , along with the final touches before the painting process

Gonna post the rest of the pics as soon as I get them.. Its gonna look great!!:happyanim:

How the car used to look like ...

Some outer accessories I remember :

-Genuine R32 Taillights

-Japanese Xenon HeadLights

- Matched Painted Side Skirts , Rear and Front Bumper

- Lowered

- 10% Rear Tint

- Black VW Emblems

- Rear Wipper Delete

- Rear GTI Badge Removed

- Open Fogs

Mine is the silver one

We've already seen these conversions. Also, those headlights look like a downgrade from the stock units. All in all, I would say this thread is boring.

Double check your wheel color , now that's shitty :barf::bellyroll:

Doing a conversion is not that easy , we are just posting about it for fun , no need to hate:23:

dude... not to hate or anything, but you cannot hate on his wheels after installing those Jc Whitney headlights! I mean... what was wrong with the stock ones?

Give the guy a break - they are in Lebanon - he is excited about the mods, and I bet no one in Lebanon has done what they are doing. Go hate on some other thread...

Hehehe your right about those headlights man:bellyroll:

The truth is here in Lebanon , the stock is GTI comes with the normal lights , not the Xenon ones , so my friend wanted some cheap xenon lights , so he got his hands on those...

I told him 3 days ago to change them , and put the old stock ones , cause they are not gonna look good on the new R32 look..:iono:

I guess he might squeeze his piggy bank a bit and buy the OEM Xenon , its worth it

Thnx for the back up man:rolleyes: , like I seriously don't get some of the members here , they are always trying to hate , for NOTHING:mad0259:

Anw , here in Lebanon , we always go to the dealer to get things done.. And you know the Overpriced dealers :yikes:.. The fact that we are so excited about this build is because we are doing it by ourselves for the first time , the primer the cutting the exhaust , EVERYTHING!

And its an amazing forum , so give us ur feedback and opinions:thumbup:

I think it has more to do with the thread title.

"GTI To R32 Conversion - Build Thread"

The thread title is a bit misleading. The words conversion and build really make it seem like a lot more is going on than a bumper swap. Did you honestly read the thread title and think, "Oh, this person must be upgrading their front and rear bumpers."

Just trying to clarify...

Well my friend decided to do some small body repairs so that the car would look clean and of course match the new painted front bumper..

^^ We here in North American and even in Europe are spoiled with somewhat cheap prices (shipping, taxes, etc.) for parts. That is not always the case for OP and his friend and others who live in countries like theirs. It's good to see you guys doing your thing.

Good luck with the build and can't wait for updates and pics!

Its ALOT of money man , i'm gonna ask him abt the price again , he might be mistaken , I guess they are for about 1500USD or so , because once I went to the dealer , he had used ones for 1000USD but in mint condition , he told me that he would take mine (Stock ones) + 600USD over them for the XENON lights.. Didnt have the money by that time:iono:

Hey guys , I was looking at the some pictures and I was imagining the wheels with the new front bumper..

The Rim color is Titanium , as u can see in the pic below... I dont think that they will look good , they might look cheap:yikes:

My friend was thinking about matching them to the same original color of the new R32 front bumper , the color of the front GRILL...

And the mirror cases , we where thinking about matching them also to the color of the new R32 GRILL

Inputs needed:bow::w00t:

So are you saying that you are thinking about painting your rims? Or that you were wondering if you should color match it to the front grille of the car?

I don't think that the Titanium on the rims looks bad, though in those pix they look like they could use some touch-up

I think accenting colors would look good, especially on a dark car like yours. I think it might look a little more dynamic if you painted the inserts a darker color than the rim is now. But I don't know that I've seen that before, so I'd have no idea how it would look ;)

And if you have a CF/Titanium colored grille, matching it with the wheels wouldn't look bad at all.

a front bumper or bonnet is $600 each over here!
S3 fmic from audi is $700 if you know someone in the parts department you can get discount to $500 at most:eyebulge:
