FB: TFSi Pump or HPFP kit

I'm interested to adquire a HPFP for mi TFSi like Autotech or KMD.

In another hand I can be interested into a APR Fuel PUMP.

TSI doesn't need an upgraded HPFP.

only fsi.

Hmmm. As far as I know

FSI = cam follower
TSI = "cam roller"

I don't believe you can fit the FSI internals inside a TSI pump... Also APR only lists FSI on their pump.


Are you getting fuel cuts or something? What is wrong with your current setup? What year is your car?

He has an FSI engine, and the original name of it was TFSI


Now that it's the TSI, in the newer models, that's where the confusion sets in. OP, you own an FSI, not a TFSI. I would stick with APR, as they appear to be the best in the game. While KMD and AT probably make a decent product, I've heard my fair share of horror stories.

Also note, you're not even Stage 2+ without a Fuel Pump upgrade... so Stage 3+? That you are not. Stage 2, yeah sure.

Dear Sirs, I've a FSI engine.

I had a KMD Kit but I broke the cam follower. After that my KIt was damaged and i need another new again or an APR HPFP.

FSI is the same as the TFSI, I went through the same confusion.
especially when you get into 2.0T FSI BPY DSG lol

if you have the cash to be stage 3 just go apr on the part

Call or email KMD directly. They have a limited quantity of pumps in stock.

KMD is out of stock up to the next may :(

utekineir, Apr Fuel pump is too much expensive as new. The fact that i've a stage 3+ setup is related with the fact that i know i what kind of things i should spend my money. I was using a KMD Kit but I broke the camshaft damaging the fuel pump. FOr this reason is whay i trust on Kmd HPFP kit.
