View Full Version : NOVA Area Dealers with Launch Control

Anybody have any success finding a dealership to put launch control on their car yet? I've tried Lindsay, Stohlman, and Fairfax/Rosenthal VW. Hell, I'd even drive to MD if someone there did it.

Lindsay knew what I was talking about but said they didn't have the software yet. The other two tried to tell me that it wasn't available in North America.

I just went to Antwerpen VW up here in MD yesterday. When I asked the guy in the service department about it, he said I was the second person that had asked, but he had no idea what we were talking about. He even asked me what it was supposed to do. :iono:

Guess it's just going to be a while before it gets circulated around.

I mentioned it to King VW but they haven't heard about it either. The TSB that is... not Launch Control. So amelios.. if you call up Francisco (haha) since he is dying to talk to you again... ( not dying.. but you know.. ) he'll figure something out I supose. If you talk to the service department or parts.. talk to Ray... he probably knows me over my fuss over the open fog vents.

Yeah... I'll give them a call at some point... How much did you end up getting the open fog vents from them for?

About 42-44. meh... If you ask them about it.. they will DEFINATELY know what you are talking about (since i went through a long process of trying to get open vents from them). I got priced on the regular vents ( which costs more )... and for some reason, Ray didn't give me a refund for some of the extra $$ involved. Yes yes, I did mention it, but meh.
